Challenge
Children are more interested in spending their time on mobile devices rather than reading a book nowadays. The books also become more complex and less fun.
Solution
I developed a solution to motivate the children to read more books by making the reading experience more fun and visual to attach the children for a longer time. On top of that, I introduced the rewarding system just like playing video games. All of this is driven using modern technology like Augmented Reality turning classic still images from the book into motion not only in 2D but also in 3D.
Result
My 3D Anglerfish based on the illustration from the book "Britannica All New Kids’ Encyclopedia: What We Know & What We Don’t” got over 4.7k opens with the target audience age from 13 to 24 years old.

Introduction

I designed an e-commerce website to promote my solution to the parents on how to change the reading experience for children to motivate them reading books. At the same time, I also prototyped the process of how the children will obtain the reward by themselves on the kid version of the website.
